The Economic Times daily newspaper is available online now. Read Today's Paper IPO Calendar: Primary market cools after Jio frenzy, but 13 listings lined upBy Akash Podishetti, ETMarkets.comLast Updated: Nov 01, 2026, 11:11:00 AM ISTSynopsis

India’s IPO market is set for a quiet week, with just one fresh issue worth Rs 56.68 crore opening for subscription and no mainboard launches. Vedant Poly Fabs will be the only new IPO, while 13 companies are expected to list. The slowdown follows October’s blockbuster Rs 30,188 crore Jio Platforms IPO, which was subscribed over 22 times.

India's primary market is set for a quiet week after a series of large public offerings, with just one new IPO worth Rs 57 crore scheduled to open for subscription between November 2 and November 6. There will be no fresh mainboard IPO launches, although several companies that raised funds in late October are preparing for their stock market debuts.

Vedant Poly Fabs, a small and medium enterprise (SME), will be the only new company opening its IPO next week. Meanwhile, six companies whose public issues are currently open, including mainboard player Bombay Coated & Special Steels, are scheduled to list on the exchanges during the week.

The slowdown follows a busy October for India's primary market, highlighted by Jio Platforms' Rs 30,188 crore IPO, the largest in the country's history.

Mukesh Ambani-led Jio made its stock market debut on October 28 at Rs 1,358, a premium of 21.36% over its issue price of Rs 1,119. The blockbuster offering attracted bids worth Rs 4.9 lakh crore in the public book and was subscribed more than 22 times.

The coming week will see investors turn their attention towards the final subscription days of existing issues and the listing performance of recently concluded offerings.

    Live Events

Vedant Poly Fabs IPOThe Rs 56.68 crore IPO of Vedant Poly Fabs will open for public subscription on Monday, November 2, and close on Wednesday, November 4. The company has fixed a price band of Rs 88-94 per share.

The offering comprises a fresh issue of 54.26 lakh shares worth Rs 51.01 crore and an offer for sale of 6.04 lakh shares aggregating to Rs 5.67 crore. Retail investors will have to apply for a minimum of 2,400 shares, requiring an investment of Rs 2,25,600 at the upper end of the price band.

The company is expected to finalise the basis of allotment on November 5, with its tentative listing on the NSE SME platform scheduled for November 9.

Vedant Poly Fabs manufactures flexible packaging materials, including shrink films, printed laminates and packaging pouches used in the food, beverage and consumer goods industries.

13 ongoing IPOs headed for listingAmong the existing issues continuing into next week, Bombay Coated & Special Steels will be the mainboard offering in focus. The company's Rs 183.06 crore IPO, which opened on October 29, will close for subscription on November 2.

The price band has been fixed at Rs 78-82 per share, with a minimum retail application of 182 shares, requiring an investment of Rs 14,924. The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of 2.23 crore equity shares.

The company plans to utilise Rs 125 crore towards repayment of borrowings and Rs 15.77 crore to acquire capital equipment under existing lease arrangements.

Bombay Coated operates in steel processing, converting coils into products used by automotive, appliance and engineering manufacturers. The issue received a strong response during its first two days of bidding, with subscription reaching 3.98 times on October 30. The qualified institutional buyer portion was subscribed 6.89 times, while the retail category attracted 3.17 times bids.

The allotment is expected to be finalised on November 3, with shares scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on November 5. Bombay Coated is the only mainboard company among these six that will list this week.

The wider IPO calendar also includes listings of companies whose subscription periods ended last week. EAAA India Alternatives is scheduled to debut on November 2, followed by BLS Polymers, SFC Environmental Technologies and Wiscon Industries on November 3.

Antala Industries, whose Rs 23.33 crore SME IPO closes on November 2, is also expected to list on November 5.

Four other SME companies are scheduled to close their public offerings on November 3 and list on November 6.

These include Maxwell Engineering Solutions, which is raising Rs 57.64 crore; Johnsoncab Electricals, with an issue size of Rs 56.02 crore; Vectras Enprocon, which is seeking Rs 53.05 crore; and HGS (India), with a Rs 34.56 crore offering.

MK Sons Fine Jewels, Ajwa Projects and Carver Roboweld are scheduled to list on November 4. That takes the total number of expected listings during the week to 13, including five mainboard companies, subject to the final exchange schedules.
